Cheops Pyramid Sitio arqueológico
When the 7 wonders of the world are mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the Pyramid of Cheops. Keops, the largest of the Giza Pyramids with a length of 139 meters, was built by the Pharaoh Khufu Keops. The pyramid is so big that around 2,300,000 stone blocks were used in its construction. Believed to be built between 2589 and 2566 BC, the structure has survived for about 4600 years and is still as solid as it was on the first day. This success in building the pyramids remains a mystery even today, and engineers and archaeologists from many parts of the world continue to investigate the Pyramid of Cheops. The fact that the Pyramid of Cheops held the title of the tallest structure in the world until the construction of the Eiffel Tower in 1889 does not surprise you at all.
