The Statue of Liberty (English: Statue of Liberty), or Liberty Enlightens the World, is the monumental statue and observation tower that has been the symbol of America since 1886, on the island of Liberty (Liberty) in New York City, USA. It is one of the most recognizable monuments in the world.
