Ballygraffan Portal Tomb Malpera gora kevnar
Hûrî
The portal Tomb of Ballygraffan is located in the same named Townland (Irish Baile Mhic Creamhthainn) right next to a road, east of Ballygraffan Road, southeast of Comber County Down in Northern Ireland. The portal tombs in the British Isles are called megalithic installations, where two equally tall, upright stones with a stone in between form the front of a chamber covered with a sometimes huge capstone. Ballygraffan is a collapsed portal Tomb. Its about 1.0 m thick capstone lies on a pile of large stones. It has not been excavated and is surrounded by a coarsely piled dry wall, overgrown and neglected. The northern edge of the structure lies on a rock formation. There is a lot of stone material, but some of it may not be original. At the southern edge are four large, closely spaced boulders, which may belong to an exedra.
