Bei dem römischen Meilenstein aus Zülpich handelt es sich um den bislang einzigen im Rheinland gefundenen Wegweiser aus jener Zeit, der komplett und ohne größere Beschädigungen erhalten geblieben ist. Die Inschrift auf dem Stein nennt den aktuellen römischen Kaiser. Neben der jüngsten aus dem 4. Jahrhundert zeigt der Stein auch Spuren zweier älterer Inschriften: Die älteste, vollständig entfernte, gehört wohl noch in das 3. Jahrhundert. Eine weitere, unvollständig getilgte, ist dem Kaiser Licinius gewidmet, der 308–324 n. Chr. gemeinsam mit Kaiser Konstantin herrschte. Nachdem Licinius in Ungnade gefallen war, wurde der Stein wieder neu beschriftet, dieses Mal mit einer Widmung an den Kaiser Konstantin und dessen Söhne.
Entdeckt wurde er bei Erdarbeiten in den 1960er Jahren an der Nideggener Straße (Agrippastraße Köln–Trier) im Zülpicher Ortsteil Hoven, eine Reproduktion steht etwa 1,7 nördlich des Fundortes in der Römerallee Ecke Bergheimerstrasse.
